AWS Transform · Kiro · HCLTech Autonomous Modernization Factory (AMF)
AWS provides the modernization engines. HCLTech AMF turns their outputs into controlled, traceable, and accepted outcomes — culminating in a complete mainframe exit. AWS Transform accelerates legacy analysis, reverse engineering, and applicable refactoring; Kiro accelerates specification-driven requirements, design, code, tests, and infrastructure definitions. HCLTech AMF governs both as engines within one factory — maintaining a common Digital Twin, Golden Master, evidence thread, independent quality gates, and human decision checkpoints across all 142 applications, from discovery through retirement. AT&T retains authority over architecture, business rules, and final acceptance at every gate.

From AT&T's interim target state, through autonomous post-cutover operations, to a B2B-first AI-BSS foundation scaled enterprise-wide. The five-layer AI-Ops framework — orchestration, experience, agent runtime, data and tool integration, and governance with data-class routing — operates the modernized estate from go-live. The AI-BSS layer then applies AI to business workflows: exception resolution, dispute assistance, jeopardy triage, compliance-drift monitoring, and next-best-action. Every agent action is governed — autonomous never means ungoverned.
